OUR STORY

GildedTail was created from two simple passions: a love of reading and a love of our pets.

We believe the best stories stay with us long after the final page, and there’s nothing better than experiencing them with a furry companion curled up beside you through every late-night chapter and weekend reading marathon.

Our mission is to create collectible Special Editions that celebrate the stories readers love. We collaborate with authors and human artists to bring each book to life through exclusive artwork, custom designs, beautiful details, and collectible elements created specifically for each featured story.

And because our pets are part of our reading lives too, readers can choose an optional Cat or Dog Companion box featuring thoughtfully selected toys and accessories for their furry reading companions.

Proudly Latina-owned, GildedTail is about more than beautiful books. We’re building a community of readers, authors, artists, creators, and pet lovers while finding ways to give back to animals waiting for their own happily ever after.

Not every pet toy sample we receive makes it into a GildedTail box.

Whenever possible, unused toys and product samples are donated to shelters, rescue organizations, and foster homes to bring comfort, enrichment, and a little extra joy to pets still waiting for their forever families.

Part storyteller and part problem solver, Shannon helps shape the content behind GildedTail while keeping contracts, partnerships, and behind the scenes details organized. She ensures every creative idea has a solid foundation to stand on.
